April 11, 2005 Kensington, MD --- The National Family Caregivers Association (NFCA), the nation's pre-eminent non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, educating and advocating for the nations 50 million caregivers, announces the appointment of Mr. Eric Langshur to NFCAs Board of Directors. Suzanne Mintz, President and Co-Founder of the National Family Caregivers Association made the announcement.
Eric Langshur is the Founder and CEO of Chicago based TLContact, Inc.-- a privately held, healthcare services company that provides innovative patient communication and education services to leading healthcare institutions throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Mr. Langshur is an experienced start-up and turnaround professional with over 20 years of experience in managing large technology-driven companies. Prior to founding TLContact, Eric was the President of Bombardier Aerospace, CAS. Prior to Bombardier, Eric was the President of United Technologies' ONSI Corporation, the world's largest producer of commercial fuel cells. Eric is a director of Bally Total Fitness, Inc. and of Corsair Capital. He was recently recognized for outstanding achievement in volunteerism in the State of Connecticut.
