March 7, 2005 Kensington, MD -- The National Family Caregivers Association (NFCA), the nation's pre-eminent non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, educating and advocating for the nation's 50 million caregivers, announces the appointment of Ms. Andrea Cohen to NFCA's Board of Directors. Suzanne Mintz, President and Co-Founder of the National Family Caregivers Association made the announcement.
Andrea Cohen is the co-founder and CEO of Massachusetts-based HouseWorks-- an organization that creates ways to help seniors live independently, no matter how challenging the circumstances. Ms. Cohen has been at the forefront of eldercare business development for over 20 years, transforming the way private-pay services are marketed and delivered to seniors and their adult children. The HouseWorks mission is to exceed patient and family expectations by providing the most responsive and reliable home care services available.
